Description

You will lead the migration of applications from CA Endevor to the IBM DevOps toolset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of applications from CA Endevor to the specified IBM toolset.
• Create, execute, and test Groovy scripts for mainframe code compilation and deployment.
• Develop and test scripts to extract code from CA Endevor and migrate it to Git.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical roadblocks and ensure smooth migration execution.
• Train users on IBM IDz, Git, and IBM DBB.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Deep understanding of z/OS systems, application landscapes, and z/OS applications.
• In-depth expertise with Endevor as an SCM and deployment tool.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Z DevOps portfolio, including UrbanCode Deploy, IBM IDz, IBM Deploy, Git Rocket, and IBM DBB.
• Proficiency in modern SCMs such as Git and GitLab.
• Experience writing and implementing Groovy scripts.
• Proven experience in Mainframe modernization roles.
• Knowledge of IT IS AMS Mainframe DB2 Administration.
