Description

You will manage mainframe hardware and software infrastructure, ensuring system stability through proactive maintenance and complex troubleshooting.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform z/OS software installations and routine maintenance.
• Manage mainframe hardware and software infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with mainframe hardware and software infrastructure.
• Proficiency with the IBM z/OS operating system.
• Hands-on experience with JES2.
• Proficiency in TSO/ISPF and JCL.
• Familiarity with mainframe storage subsystems.
• Knowledge of mainframe network infrastructure, including TCP/IP and VTAM.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills
