Description

You will manage mainframe batch monitoring, L1 troubleshooting, and job failure triage.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive batch monitoring and generate status reports.
• Execute L1 troubleshooting and triage job failures in collaboration with developers and infrastructure teams.
• Manage problem resolution for recurring QA mainframe job failures.
• Coordinate with necessary teams to ensure rapid job resolution.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in mainframe monitoring or engineering.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
• Working knowledge of MQ and Kafka.
• Experience with Mainframe OPCC scheduler.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree.
• Strong email writing and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Distributed Autosys.
