Description

You will manage and support IBM mainframe hardware and software systems in a services-oriented environment. You will own the stability of batch and real-time processing while maintaining core middleware and data applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support IBM mainframe hardware and software systems.
• Administer batch and real-time mainframe processing methodologies.
• Maintain core middleware including z/OS Connect, CICS, DB2, and MQ.
• Support inter-networking requirements involving TCP/IP, VTAM, routing, DNS, and encryption.
• Debug and analyze system performance using application development tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with IBM mainframe hardware and software systems.
• Expertise in z/OS, CICS, DB2, SDSF, JES2, VTAM, ISPF, JCL, and VSAM utilities.
• Proficiency in Assembler, RACF, SQL, CLIST, REXX, COBOL, MQ, SMP/E, and SMTP.
• Experience with IBM application development tools: IDz, Debug Tool, Fault Analyzer, Performance Analyzer, and File Manager.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, AIX, and DB2 environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, DNS, SSL, HTTP/HTTPS, and encryption.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.
