Description

You will manage and maintain mainframe environments, transaction processing systems, and associated application code.

Responsibilities

• Write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing tasks.
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL.
• Administer mainframe data sets and handle basic security tasks.
• Manage IMS database concepts, including IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Handle transaction processing through CICS functionalities and interfaces.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in mainframe engineering.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS/DB and IMS/DC database technologies.
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.
• Knowledge of mainframe system administration and data set management.
