Description

You will own mainframe software development using COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and SQL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for DB2 databases.
• Manage data files and utilities using tools like File-Aid and SPUFI.
• Collaborate with teams to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on mainframe development experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with File-Aid, Eztrieve, and SPUFI.
• Exposure to SnapLogic, Snowflake, AWS, Java, Angular, or Python.
