Description

Develop and manage mainframe applications for the banking and financial services sector on IBM Z Series.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and EGL on IBM Z Series.
• Manage application lifecycles using RDz and JCL.
• Support data and system requirements using Db2 and IBM z/OS.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles to mainframe technologies.
• Deliver technical solutions within an Agile framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe engineering roles.
• Proficiency with IBM z/OS and IBM Z Series Software.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and RDz.
• Experience managing and querying Db2 databases.
• Experience with EGL development on Z Series.
• Foundational knowledge of C, C++, C#, or Java.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the financial or banking industry.
• Knowledge of Z Series Server architecture.
