Description

You will lead the migration of legacy applications from mainframe environments to Java while maintaining existing operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead legacy application migration efforts from mainframe to Java.
• Manage the transition of business logic from legacy systems to modern frameworks.
• Maintain existing mainframe operations during the multi-year migration roadmap.
• Execute a long-term roadmap to migrate legacy applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF.
• Expertise in JCL.
• Experience with CICS.
• Strong knowledge of VSAM.
• Experience with DB2.
• Ability to work with file operations.

Preferred Skills

• Background in financial services, banking, or ACH payments.
