Description

Oversee mainframe services, vendor performance, and technical governance for z/OS, hardware, and networking.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Govern managed suppliers for mainframe services and act as the liaison between external vendors and internal teams.
• Manage mainframe configuration items as a Data Steward and coordinate technical projects, metrics, and system reporting.
• Serve as the primary contact for disaster recovery, security coordination, SIEM logging, and Log4j management.
• Lead internal risk management, audit activities, and provide technical subject matter expertise.
• Manage supplier access, compliance, and participate in on-call rotations for vendor escalations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a mainframe environment.
• Deep understanding of z/OS, mainframe hardware, and mainframe networking.
• Expertise in mainframe security and architecture.
• Practical knowledge of ITIL processes and IT operations best practices.
• Experience with vendor management and supplier governance.
• Proven ability to manage internal risk and audit requirements.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with project managers and user bases.
• Degree or equivalent experience (Any Graduate).
