Description

You will develop, test, and integrate mission-critical Mainframe applications. You own the full lifecycle from code research and debugging to production integration, ensuring high-quality implementations and system stability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and integrate Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ, and JCL.
  • Perform code research, debugging, and enhancements to optimize application performance and support CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to gather requirements and implement changes.
  • Manage secure file transfers (SFTP/AWXAY) and support Endeavor Software Manager migrations.
  • Utilize DB2 tools, File-Aid, schedulers, and debuggers for efficient database management and environment transitions.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Mainframe coding and debugging.
  • 5+ years of experience in COBOL programming.
  • Strong knowledge of CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ, and JCL.
  • Familiarity with DB2 tools, File-Aid, and debugging/scheduler tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Any Graduate).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with partners.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CICS System knowledge and CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing.
  • Basic knowledge of core Java and Front-End Technologies (Angular).
  • Experience with Endeavor Software Manager for migration processes.
