Description

You will manage and build mainframe test environments while driving service improvements through automation.

Responsibilities

• Build new IMS and DB2 test environments.
• Perform Endeavor administration and manage software changes across CICP, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS.
• Mask IMS, DB2, and VSAM files using Informatica.
• Respond to EMS customer support requests and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Develop and extend automation tools and scripts to improve service delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a similar mainframe engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with IMS/DB2 database management and manipulation, including image copying and data restoration.
• Proficiency in Endeavor administration and Fileaid.
• Strong technical skills in COBOL, JCL, REXX, ISPF, and OPC.
• Experience with TSO and Xpeditor.
• Background in both Batch and Online application development.
• Knowledge of mainframe storage management, including volume/tape management and flashcopy.
• Ability to plan and document technical work in Jira and Confluence.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to MQ, CDC, or Informatica.
• Experience with UNIX or Windows systems.
• Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere Data Capture.
