Description

You will manage the updating and migration of legacy reporting assets and environments, specifically focusing on WebFocus and Mainframe Focus.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to update numerous Focus assets and provide administration for the WebFocus PALM remediation environment.
• Analyze current Focus programs and WebFocus reports to document technical specifications.
• Convert WebFocus and Mainframe Focus queries into T-SQL queries.
• Update Focus programs to incorporate chart of account changes mandated by Florida PALM.
• Refactor Focus mainframe programs to transition from flat file data sources to database tables.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Tibco Mainframe Focus or WebFocus.
• Experience with IBM mainframe and Job Control Language (JCL).
• Proficiency in SQL using the IBM DB2 relational database management system.
• T-SQL skills for query conversion.
• Experience creating financial reports including general ledger, purchasing, or revenue data.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MS Power BI, IBM Cognos, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with the SCRUM framework and financial ERP systems.
• Knowledge of data management concepts including Data Warehousing, ODS, Data Lakes, or MDM.
