Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications, focusing on DB2, COBOL, and VSAM.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Mainframe applications using COBOL and DB2.
• Create new DB2 tables and VSAM files to store data as required.
• Modify existing COBOL programs to handle new business logic and validate data.
• Prepare detailed documentation for impact analysis, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Manage version control using ChangeMan and work within Agile processes.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Mainframe application design and development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, including program modification and creation.
• Experience with DB2 for data retrieval, validation, and table creation.
• Hands-on experience with VSAM file management.
• Expertise in ChangeMan version control tool.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with detailed impact analysis documentation.
