Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications using IDMS and COBOL.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage database structures using IDMS and ADS/O.
• Write and maintain COBOL programs and CICS transactions.
• Utilize VSAM, JCL, and TSO/ISPF for data management and system tasks.
• Design and implement DMLOs and Bachman Diagrams.
• Produce technical documentation for all development work.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Expertise in COBOL.
• Strong proficiency with IDMS and ADS/O.
• Experience with CICS.
• Hands-on knowledge of VSAM and JCL.
• Proficiency using TSO/ISPF.
• Experience working with DMLOs and Bachman Diagrams.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.
