Description

You will administer and support Mainframe IMS database environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, administer, and support Mainframe IMS database environments.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and fine-tune IMS systems and supporting products.
• Perform advanced debugging, problem analysis, and incident resolution.
• Design and execute IMS database administration and maintenance tasks.
• Provide off-hours/on-call support for production incidents.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe IMS Administration.
• Strong knowledge of IMS DB and IMS TM.
• Proven experience with IMS installation, configuration, upgrades, and tuning.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based incident and change management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
