Description

You will administer, support, and optimize Mainframe IMS database environments. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and fine-tune IMS systems and supporting products.
• Perform advanced debugging, problem analysis, and incident resolution for production environments.
• Design and execute IMS database administration and maintenance tasks.
• Provide off-hours and on-call support for critical production incidents.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe IMS Administration.
• Strong technical knowledge of IMS DB and IMS TM.
• Proven experience with IMS installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based incident and change management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated IMS administration tools.
