Description

You will develop and maintain core mainframe applications using IMS and CICS technologies. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL within mainframe environments.
• Manage and execute batch processing jobs using JCL scripts.
• Interface with IMS database structures, including IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Utilize CICS programming interfaces to handle transaction processing.
• Perform basic mainframe system administration tasks, including data set and security management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating system.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB, IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.
• Experience with IMS technology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with basic mainframe system administration.
