Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and IMS on the z/OS platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain COBOL programs for business logic and data processing.
• Develop CICS transaction programs and manage application interfaces.
• Design and implement IMS/DB and IMS/DC database solutions.
• Manage JCL scripts for batch processing and system job scheduling.
• Support basic mainframe system administration, including dataset management and security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS/DB and IMS/DC concepts and implementation.
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration tasks.
