Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications on z/OS, focusing on IMS/DB, IMS/DC, and CICS transaction processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications on z/OS.
• Build and support CICS-based transaction processing systems.
• Manage IMS/DB and IMS/DC for database and transaction workflows.
• Write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Perform data set management and basic system administration tasks.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL for batch processing.
• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Basic mainframe system administration skills, including data set management and security.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe system administration beyond data set management.
• Graduate degree in a technical field.
