Description

Manage and develop mainframe applications using IMS and CICS technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL programming.
• Manage database operations using IMS/DB and IMS/DC concepts.
• Implement transaction processing through CICS functionalities and interfaces.
• Write and manage JCL scripts to handle batch processing tasks.
• Perform system administration tasks including data set management and security.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS database technologies, specifically IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration and data set management.
