Description

You will serve as a technical expert focused on mainframe system design, application development, and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mainframe applications within a large corporate environment.
• Debug and maintain complex codebases to ensure system resiliency and security.
• Manage the full software development life cycle using agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure operational stability through hands-on management of IMS and CICS environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development.
• Proficiency in IBM-Z/OS COBOL.
• Deep expertise in IMS DB/DC and CICS.
• Strong experience with DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Working knowledge of CA7 and ChangeMan/Endevor mainframe application development suites.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.
• Ability to write and execute database querying languages.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of AWS or broader cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and banking or credit card domains.
