Description

You will design, develop, and troubleshoot mainframe software solutions, ensuring secure production code and robust system architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex applications using Mainframe Assembler, IMS, and DB2.
• Produce design artifacts and ensure code meets all structural constraints.
• Debug and maintain code within a large-scale corporate environment.
• Identify data patterns to improve coding hygiene and application resiliency.
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and technical events.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe Assembler programming.
• Proficiency in IMS and DB2.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, and testing.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI/CD and Application Resiliency.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
