Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications on the IBM mainframe using IMS, CICS, and COBOL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL on the mainframe.
• Manage batch processing jobs using JCL scripts.
• Utilize IMS/DB and IMS/DC for transaction processing.
• Apply CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Perform basic mainframe system administration tasks, including data set management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts, specifically IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.
• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional mainframe tools or debuggers.
