Description

You will develop and maintain critical applications on the mainframe platform, focusing on IMS database management and batch processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL.
• Write and manage batch processing scripts using JCL.
• Handle transaction processing logic within the IMS environment.
• Manage dataset operations and security tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience on mainframes.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL.
• In-depth understanding of IMS Database and IMS/DB.
• Expertise in IMS/DC and CICS.
• Proficiency with JCL for batch processing.
• Experience with transaction processing interfaces.
• Basic knowledge of mainframe dataset management and security.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe security tools.
• Knowledge of legacy system modernization.
