Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using IMS/DB, CICS, COBOL, and JCL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain COBOL programs for mainframe environments.
• Design and implement IMS/DB database structures and queries.
• Develop CICS transaction processing applications.
• Create and manage JCL scripts for batch job execution.
• Perform basic system administration tasks including dataset management.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating system.
• Expertise in IMS/DB and IMS/DC concepts.
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of mainframe system administration tasks like security.
