Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using IMS/DB and IMS/DC, leveraging COBOL and CICS. You own the full lifecycle of batch and transaction processing workloads on z/OS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IMS Database schemas and control blocks.
• Develop COBOL programs interfacing with CICS transaction processing.
• Write and manage JCL scripts for batch job execution and scheduling.
• Perform dataset management and basic system administration tasks.

Required Skills

• COBOL: Strong proficiency in writing and maintaining legacy code.
• z/OS: In-depth understanding of the mainframe operating environment.
• IMS Database: Expertise in IMS/DB and IMS/DC architecture.
• CICS: Strong understanding of transaction processing and programming interfaces.
• JCL: Ability to write and manage complex batch processing scripts.
• System Administration: Basic knowledge of dataset management and security tasks.
• Experience: 5+ years in mainframe development.
• Education: Any Graduate degree.
