Description

You will provide L3 support and maintenance for mainframe applications, ensuring operational stability and security.

Responsibilities

• Execute full Software Development Life Cycle tasks, including testing and debugging.
• Manage application resiliency and security using agile methodologies and CI/CD.
• Coordinate technical tasks with offshore teams to resolve complex issues.
• Provide weekend support and work rotating shifts, including 2 PM to 11 PM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development and support.
• Hands-on experience with IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, and DB2.
• Proficiency with VSAM, JCL, and CA7.
• Experience using Changeman/Endevor mainframe application development suites.
• Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, and testing.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of AWS, cloud technologies, or Java.
