Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications within a large corporate environment, ensuring operational stability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications to ensure operational stability.
• Debug and maintain code across the full software development life cycle.
• Implement application resiliency and security protocols within agile methodologies.
• Manage code deployment using CI/CD practices and mainframe development suites.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in system design and application development.
• Proficiency in IBM-Z/OS COBOL.
• Expertise in CICS and IMS DB/DC.
• Experience with DB2 and VSAM.
• Proficiency in JCL and CA7.
• Experience with Changeman/Endevor mainframe application development suites.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies.
• Exposure to JAVA and modern front-end technologies.
