Description

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using IBM Z/OS, CICS, and IMS DB/DC. You will own the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain code in COBOL and Java within a Z/OS environment.
• Develop and manage IMS DB/DC databases and CICS transactions.
• Utilize DB2 for data management and VSAM for file handling.
• Automate job scheduling and workflow using JCL and CA7.
• Manage application changes and releases using Changeman/Endeavor suites.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Z/OS COBOL and CICS.
• Strong proficiency in IMS DB/DC and DB2.
• Experience with VSAM, JCL, and CA7.
• Familiarity with Changeman/Endeavor mainframe development suites.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
• Exposure to Java and modern front-end technologies.
