Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications within a large corporate environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications ensuring operational stability and resiliency.
• Debug and maintain code across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and security protocols using agile methodologies.
• Manage application data and messaging using IMS DB/DC and IBM WebSphere MQ.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, and IMS DB/DC.
• Proficiency in DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Experience with CA7, Changeman, or Endevor.
• Practical knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ messaging.
• Understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Work experience with AWS and cloud technologies.
