Description

You will develop and maintain applications within mainframe environments, focusing on IMS database systems and transaction processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL.
• Write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Implement and manage functionality within the CICS transaction processing environment.
• Manage and interact with IMS database concepts, including IMS/DB and IMS/DC.
• Assist with mainframe system administration tasks, such as data set management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Mainframe environments.
• Expert proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of the z/OS operating system.
• Expertise in IMS database concepts (IMS/DB and IMS/DC).
• Thorough understanding of CICS functionalities and programming interfaces.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.
• Familiarity with IBM MQ.
