Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications within a mainframe environment, focusing on IMS technologies and z/OS systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application code using COBOL.
• Manage database operations using IMS/DB and handle transaction processing via IMS/DC.
• Write and manage JCL scripts for batch processing tasks.
• Utilize CICS functionalities and programming interfaces for transaction processing.
• Handle data set management and perform basic mainframe system administration tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming.
• In-depth knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Expertise in IMS/DB database concepts.
• Experience with IMS/DC and CICS functionalities.
• Ability to write and manage JCL scripts.
• Understanding of mainframe system administration and data set management.
