You will manage and optimize mainframe systems and infrastructure operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical risks to planned system upgrades and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review implementation of system enhancements and recommend improvements to management.
• Analyze and resolve complex system problems to ensure stability and performance.
• Manage system upgrades and infrastructure operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe infrastructure engineering.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS architectures and z/OS internals.
• Proficiency with IBM Mainframe systems including JCL, CICS, SQL, and z/OS.
• Experience working with DB2, IMS, VSAM, and XML.
• Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with zSecure and the CARL language for customization.
• Knowledge of mainframe security regarding pervasive encryption.
• Familiarity with mainframe security audits, BSCs, and key management.
