Description

You own the stability and security of the mainframe infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain z/OS environments, including RACF and zSecure configurations.
• Remediate BSA configuration issues and support compliance with DISA STIG rules.
• Manage IT service requests using ServiceNow for ticket tracking.
• Support and maintain VDIs and general enterprise tools like MS Office and MS Teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe infrastructure engineering.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS architectures and internals.
• Proficiency in core mainframe tools: JCL, CICS, SQL, DB2, IMS, VSAM, XML, and TSO/ISPF.
• Experience with mainframe security principles, including encryption.
• Familiarity with governance and controls for supporting audits and findings (BSCs, key management).
• Experience working with z/OS and IBM Mainframe System components.
• Experience with zSecure and its associated language.
• Knowledge of vendor migration processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CARLa for customization.
• Experience with pervasive encryption on mainframes.
