Description

You will define the technical approach for mainframe precision expansion and govern cross-component design authority.

Responsibilities

• Design technical standards and guardrails, documenting business processes from code analysis.
• Define the cross-platform integration strategy for all impacted components.
• Govern the separation of functionality for clearing and settlement applications.
• Establish standards for data lineage tracing, data cleansing, and VSAM file updates.
• Own the integration and cutover design, including rollback and performance strategies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of mainframe architecture experience.
• Deep expertise in z/OS internals, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Experience with Assembler, CA-7, and JCL / PROCs.
• Proven experience leading large-scale numeric precision accounting system migrations.
• Strong knowledge of versioning, fallback, and cutover strategies.
• Proficiency with discovery and impact analysis tools.
• Experience governing data and functional requirements in credit card processing.
