Description

You will lead mainframe application development and implementation lifecycle management for critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coding, testing, and debugging of mainframe applications across build and stabilization phases.
• Conduct code reviews and execute unit, system, regression, integration, performance, and volume testing.
• Manage implementation planning, coordination, and detailed project estimates.
• Facilitate technical design meetings and decision-making sessions with business partners and stakeholders.
• Perform database and disaster recovery planning across multiple systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Expertise in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Mandatory proficiency in CICS.
• Experience with Zeke, File Aid, Changeman, and AbendAid.
• Hands-on experience with Coolgen and IM.
• Proven ability to lead teams and make technical decisions in collaboration with Business Analysts and SMEs.
• Strong analytical and coding skills with the ability to manage complex technical planning.
