Description

Lead development, testing, and maintenance of large-scale mainframe applications and MMIS systems. Own the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to technical specification.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug online and batch code using COBOL and associated technologies.
• Provide production support for online and batch programs, JCL, and operational issues, including on-call duties.
• Design, develop, and test modifications and enhancements to existing software systems.
• Mentor a team of Mainframe Systems Development Specialists and serve as the technical expert.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency in COBOL.
• Experience with JCL.
• Experience with VSAM.
• Experience with CICS.
• Experience with TSO/ISPF.
• Experience with IBM Utilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience using COBOL, COBOL II, or CICS in a mainframe environment.
• Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) or claims processing experience.
