Lead application development and technical solutioning for mainframe systems while managing team efforts.

You will own the full lifecycle of mainframe applications, from design to support, ensuring robust performance and clear client communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutioning and team management for application development projects.
• Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• Optimize data structures and processes using VSAM and Easytrieve.
• Manage relationships with team members and clients through clear, direct communication.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Mainframe application development and support.
• Expert-level COBOL programming proficiency.
• Strong experience with CICS transaction processing.
• Strong proficiency in DB2 database management.
• Hands-on experience with VSAM data structures.
• Proficiency in Easytrieve programming for reporting and data manipulation.
• Proven ability in technical solutioning and team leadership.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Assembler programming experience.
• Domain experience in Payroll, Tax, or Retirement systems.
