Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mainframe software applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mainframe software applications using COBOL.
• Translate user requirements into technical specifications and functional code.
• Manage system installations, modifications, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide technical support for project requirements.
• Ensure all applications meet established performance, security, and quality standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in COBOL.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with risk assessment methodologies.
