Description

You will lead mainframe development and migration projects while providing technical direction to the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and migration projects by analyzing existing application logic to provide technical solutions.
• Guide team members in enhancing technical capabilities and increasing overall productivity.
• Define, advocate, and implement coding standards and technical best practices.
• Conduct feasibility studies, including technical alternatives, architecture best practices, and risk assessments.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and manage project status reporting to minimize risk.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe technologies.
• Expertise in Mainframe Cobol, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Practical knowledge of Compiler Directives.
• Proficiency with schedulers and Python scripting.
• Strong ability to perform technical articulation and feasibility studies.
• Experience in technical risk breakdown and component estimation.
• University degree in IT or IT Security.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL.
