Description

Lead mainframe development and operations within an Agile and DevOps environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage mainframe application development using COBOL and DB2.
• Oversee batch processing and job scheduling using JCL and tools like OPC or Control-M.
• Maintain code integrity through version control tools such as Changeman, Endevor, or SVN.
• Coordinate technical workflows within Agile frameworks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Expertise in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and JCL.
• Proficiency with SVN or similar version control systems.
• Working knowledge of REXX.
• Experience with schedule management tools like OPC or Control-M.
• Familiarity with Changeman or Endevor.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
