Description

You will lead legacy migration and modernization efforts across on-premise, Azure cloud, and Microfocus environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute mainframe modernization and legacy migration strategies.
• Lead team composition and structure for large-scale migration projects.
• Develop automation tools and problem statements using Python.
• Triage production issues using standard mainframe diagnostic tools.
• Document business requirement specifications within an Agile product development life cycle.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Mainframe and Java Modernization.
• Expertise in Mainframe COBOL, CICS, JCL, IMS, and DB2.
• Proven experience in Legacy Migration Center of Excellence (LMCOE) environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python for automation.
• Demonstrated success in On-Prem to On-Prem, Cloud to Azure, or Microfocus migrations.
• Proficiency in MQ and distributed solution integration.
• Strong understanding of the full Product Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively across organizational functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java and distributed solutions.
