Description

You will manage and support logical security on IBM z/OS mainframe environments, ensuring robust access control and compliance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IBM z/OS security environments, managing user IDs, groups, roles, and resource permissions.
• Configure and administer security products including RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret to enforce access policies.
• Perform access reviews, user provisioning, deprovisioning, and entitlement management.
• Monitor security violations, investigate unauthorized access attempts, and analyze SMF records and security logs.
• Support compliance initiatives (SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001) and collaborate with auditors.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS operating system.
• Hands-on experience with RACF, ACF2, or CA Top Secret.
• Understanding of Dataset Security and SMF Data Analysis.
• Knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, SDSF, JES2/JES3, and VSAM.
• Experience with mainframe authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
• Basic scripting skills using REXX, CLIST, or automation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM zSecure or similar compliance tools.
• Knowledge of IBM Z MFA implementation or enterprise IAM solutions.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or QRadar.
