Description

You will manage proactive batch monitoring and L1 troubleshooting for mainframe environments in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch processes proactively to ensure system stability.
• Perform L1 troubleshooting and triage job failures with developers and infrastructure teams.
• Execute problem management to resolve recurring QA mainframe job failures.
• Provide regular status reporting on system performance and job outcomes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of relevant experience in mainframe monitoring or operations.
• Proficient knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
• Working knowledge of MQ and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe OPCC scheduler.
• Strong technical communication and email writing skills.
• Degree in any discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Distributed Autosys.
