Description

You will develop and maintain mission-critical mainframe applications on IBM System z platforms. You own the full lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and support.

Responsibilities

• Create high-performance applications based on analyzed user requirements.
• Ensure all software meets established performance and security standards.
• Collaborate with other developers to build scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and debugging for existing systems.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in mainframe development.
• Proficiency with Natural and Adabas.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Experience with z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux, or IBM System z platforms.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe software development tools.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization projects.
• Familiarity with mainframe performance tuning utilities.
