Description

You will manage and support mainframe network system programming and administration in a parallel sysplex environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network components on the system side to ensure proper integration.
• Fine-tune mainframe environments to optimize performance and stability.
• Perform debugging and problem analysis to resolve network issues quickly.
• Implement and regularly review system automation and dependencies to reduce manual overhead.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe network administration.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS Communication Server SNA and TCP/IP across multiple LPAR environments.
• Hands-on experience with VTAM configuration and management.
• Proficiency using TSO/ISPF for system interactions.
• Working knowledge of Policy Agent and encryption protocols.
• Experience with IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_CICS Administration.
• Ability to manage network systems within a parallel sysplex environment.
