Description

You will maintain and manage core mainframe network infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot network services utilizing TCP/IP and associated protocols.
• Operate and maintain mainframe networking products including SNA, VTAM, and TPX.
• Execute support tasks while balancing priorities with ongoing project deliverables.
• Ensure all completed tasks and projects are fully documented and updated.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in mainframe networking.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP and associated protocols.
• Hands-on experience with SNA and VTAM.
• Familiarity with session management products such as TPX and Teleview.
• Strong organizational skills to manage parallel activities.
• Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of complex TCP/IP environments.
