Description

You will maintain and support Mainframe Network System Programming and administration, ensuring secure and stable network operations.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure network components on the system side.
• Fine-tune Mainframe environments through debugging and problem analysis.
• Manage network operations within parallel Sysplex environments.
• Implement and regularly review system automation and dependencies.
• Administer security protocols including encryption and policy agents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe network environments.
• Deep knowledge of z/OS Communication Server.
• Proficiency with SNA and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with VTAM.
• Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF.
• Experience with Policy Agent and encryption implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple LPAR environments.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field of study.
