Description

What's the Job?

• Configure and maintain z/OS Communications Server (VTAM, TCP/IP) supporting mission-critical banking workloads
• Engineer TCP/IP stacks, OSA interfaces, routing, VIPA/DVIPA, and Sysplex Distributor
• Support SNA/APPN/Enterprise Extender (EE) for legacy and hybrid banking applications
• Design and support TN3270 connectivity for internal/external users and vendor integrations
• Implement and manage security, compliance, and data protection protocols including AT-TLS, IPSec, and Policy Agent (PAGENT)

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in z/OS Communications Server (VTAM, TCP/IP)
• Deep expertise in TCP/IP, SNA, VTAM, enterprise routing, and DNS
• Hands-on experience with Policy Agent (AT-TLS, IPSec) and secure file transfer protocols (Connect: Direct, SFTP, FTPS)
• Proficiency with NetView or equivalent monitoring tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high-volume, production environments supporting Parallel Sysplex architectures (DVIPA/Sysplex Distributor)
