Description

You will manage and support mainframe network communications and infrastructure within a z/OS Parallel Sysplex environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support VTAM, SNA, APPN, and HPR technologies.
• Manage mainframe TCP/IP implementation and communications server infrastructure program products.
• Configure and support printer software tools including VPS and CA Spool.
• Maintain session manager tools such as TPX, IBM CL Supersession, and CA Solve.
• Support enterprise encryption processes including TCP/IP AT/TLS and SSL/TLS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe network systems programming.
• Deep knowledge of VTAM and TCP/IP.
• Experience with SNA, APPN, and HPR.
• Proficiency with IBM Enterprise Extender (IBM EE).
• Hands-on experience with FTP and SFTP protocols.
• Competency in AT/TLS and SSL/TLS encryption.
• Experience with CA TPX.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing communications in a z/OS Parallel Sysplex environment.
